Malaysia plans to build a pulp plant with oil palm as raw material
in 2004, Malaysia is expected to have the world's first pulp and paper plant with oil palm as raw material for various physiological reasons
the Minister of the first industry department of Malaysia said that the annual pulp and paper production capacity of the plant would be 100000 metric tons, with a slight increase in the sale price and an investment of RM80 million to RM100 million
he said, "Malaysia produces about 30million metric tons of oil palm every year. After the success of this plan in recent years, Malaysia is expected to become an important pulp and paper manufacturer."
through local materials and rational use of existing resources, it will effectively promote the development of Malaysian economy
